Who am I? Ryan Swayze.

 Hello, my name is Ryan Swayze. I am currently in my junior year of college as an Exercise Science major. With this degree, I plan on applying to physical therapy school or nursing school and pursuing those lines of work. Some hobbies of mine are hanging out with friends, watching football, lifting in the gym, and skiing in the wintertime. I've been lifting for as long as I remember, however, I only recently started skiing these past few years and just got my first pair of skis this past winter for Christmas.

Some other details about me is ill be turning 21 this April, I have a younger brother who is a junior in high school and an older sister who attended Penn State and is currently working down in North Carolina as a media graphic designer. lastly, I have a dog named Stella and she will be turning 8 this upcoming June.

Who Am I?

My name is Grace McBlain. I am a sophomore studying Early Childhood Education with the Dual for Special Education. I am also on the swim team here at Bloom, which has given me the opportunity to make so many great friends.

When I was little, I loved going to school and being with my teachers and classmates. Growing up as the youngest, I always wanted to help the younger grades as I viewed them as my little siblings. As I got older, I knew I had a connection with kids that some people do not. This inspired me to become a teacher and help other students grow and find their passion too. My sister is a new Kindergarten teacher, and I have been helping with her classroom, which has excited me for the future. I cannot wait to see what the future holds and to help others with their own education.

Being able to be on the swim team at Bloom has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. The team has been able to teach me many life lessons even if they do not specifically affect swimming. Being on the team has helped my work ethic, put me on a schedule, and even helped me go outside my bubble socially. My coaches are so helpful, and they are great mentors for in and out of the pool. The team has such a positive aspect that I cannot be thankful enough. They really are my home away from home. 

At home I am very close with my family and friends, as they mean a lot to me. I grew up with a large family as my dad is one of seven and Mom one of three. Family means so much because those are the people who raised me and know me the best. My favorite thing to do with my family is simply hangout and enjoy each other’s presence. Along with my family, about 2 years ago we added to our family with a dog which we named Rory. Immediately when we got him, I spent most of my time with him out of everyone in my family. Maybe he likes me for me, or maybe because I give him the leftovers off my plate when nobody else does. Going to college and leaving my dog is very sad but I am grateful to be able to have someone to miss.

Who Am I? Leandro Tavarez

 Hey, I'm Leandro. A very boring and straightforward person. There's nothing about me that would surprise you. but I do have interests and fun facts.

    I compete in powerlifting..

            Here is footage of my current best Bench Press, 342lbs. I have only done one competition but am coming up on another one on October 26th. I love lifting heavy weights, my life is centered around it. I played baseball growing up, but due to moving around, I often had periods where I couldn't play on a team or have my equipment. But I could always work out. Even if it was just with my body weight.

    I attended four high schools over four years. But ultimately I ended up graduating from my least favorite of the four, Schuylkill Valley High School.

            It was my least favorite for a multitude of reasons. But, truth be told, I only went to that school for 3 months so it didn't affect me much. 

    I love pets. Cats are cuddly and funny, while dogs are playful and aggressive with powerful, distinct personalities. Dogs are amazing, and I had a lovely canine friend named Sophia.

            Sophia was really cute. This is a video of me purposefully putting peanut butter on the roof of her mouth for the first time. It was absolutely hilarious to me, I was laughing for minutes. I have plenty of great memories with her because she was very loving, cuddly, and well-behaved. She wasn't my dog but I took care of her. Her real owners made the decision to put her down this past weekend. So I lost one of my best friends. It's not a good feeling but she lived a good life and was a good girl. And she'll live forever in my heart.
        

Who Am I? Sabrina (Bri) White

 Hello, my name is Sabrina, I am a sophomore, and I will be turning 20 this October. I have a dual major in early childhood education/ special education and I am so excited for this semester. I am originally from New Jersey, but I have lived in Pennsylvania for 11 years now. I live with my parents and my two younger sisters who are 15 and 16 years old. They are my built-in best friends and the sole reason I want to become a teacher. They both have IEP's and struggle in school. I have always been there to help them, and they rely on me to this day. It feels good to make that difference. I love to go bowling and play pool with my sisters. I also like to hike. We have two dogs: Elliot and Danny. Elliot is 4 years old, and Danny is 6 months old. They are Pembrooke Welsh corgis, and they love to play. I am the oldest grandchild and the family babysitter because all my cousins are younger than me. I don't mind it though because they all say I'm their favorite.

Who am I? Kailin Beaver

 Hi! My name is Kailin Beaver. I am an early childhood education major and  I am a sophomore. I also commute about 30 minutes from Northumberland. I have two younger brothers. One is 16 years old, and his name is Carter. The other is 10 years old, and his name is Jack. I attended Shikellamy High School in Sunbury. In high school, I did softball, field hockey, and track and field. I am currently a volunteer coach for the Shikellamy Middle School softball team. I also work at the Sunbury Community Pool and Ice Rink. Things I enjoy are shopping and hanging out with friends and family.

Hello, my name is Samuel Fernandez and I am 19 years old and I am a sophomore and am currently Finance major. I am from Berwick, PA and went to high school at Berwick Area Senior High School. Couple of things about me is firstly I have been working at the fair for the past 4 years now. I also love to go thrifting with my friends. We usually find absolutely nothing but it is still fun to find random items. Lastly I have a love hate relationship with hiking but I will still go hiking past my knee injury.

Who am I? Travis Peden

 My name is Travis Peden and I am nineteen years old. I am from Middletown Delaware. I am a pitcher for the Bloomsburg university baseball team and have been playing baseball since I was a kid. Some of my other hobbies include surfing and fishing. I am an exercise science major in hopes of becoming a state trooper after I graduate. I have two older siblings. My brother Dillon is 21 years old and my sister Amanda is 30 years old. During the summer I work as a security guard for a restaurant called the starboard located in Dewey beach Delaware.

 I am Rachel Whitenight.  I am from Berwick, Pennsylvania and I am 19 years old.  I am an only child and have no pets.  I am currently a sophomore here at BU majoring in Accounting.  Three things that people might be surprised to know about me are that I am third generation BU student, I am an assistant girls high school basketball coach, and I am a huge fan of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Go Heels!

 Hi, my name is Aidan Scott, and I'm currently at Bloomsburg for marketing and sales. I'm on the Bloomsburg D2 golf team and being outside is one of my favorite places to be other than the golf course.

I have 2 siblings who are both older than me (sister 22, brother 25). I also love playing paintball and I actually used to play competitive paintball before golf.

I also used to swim in high school as an alternative sport in the winter.

My name is Kyle Rupert (he/they). I was born in Williamsport Pennsylvania on May 31st, 2000. I have five (three older than me, two younger than me) brothers and one older sister. We were all raised in a small development outside of Montgomery Pennsylvania. I attended Montgomery Area School District for most of my K-12 education (had one weird arc where my mom had me and my two younger brothers try a private Christian school, not my jam and it was forced to close the very next year due to lack of funding). In March of 2018, I signed my contract to join the United States Marine Corps at 17 years old (which you can do with parental consent, if you were not aware). I graduated in June of that same year, and left for boot camp two months later in August. After a year of bouncing around various bases for training (South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, California) I was stationed at my unit in Jacksonville NC. I spent a little under 5 years in the Marine Corps as an Intermediate Level Composite Technician (MOS 6092), which is a fancy title for back shop Osprey mechanic. I wasn't one of the cool guys on the runway like in Top Gun, my shop was more like a background shop who had more repair capabilities and a less demanding work schedule, and thus handled things the cool guys could not handle. In June of 2023 I was honorably discharged from the USMC and moved back to PA two months later, where my girlfriend (Cassie, who at this time was more of an old friend) and I would meet back up and begin to talk again. We started to date, and I started my first semester here at Bloom in January of this year. Now, Cassie and I live in our own home in Berwick with our dog Kingsley (M) and our four cats. Their names are Bruce (F), Chonk (M), Bozo (M), and Fresco (F).  We spent most of our summer after moving in June playing Pokemon GO, visiting random events, rearranging furniture, and lamenting about how we are now in our mid-20s.

Interesting Things About Me

1. Despite being raised in a Christian, conservative household, then joining the military, I ended up a bisexual lefty.

2. I'm an officially ranked Super Smash Brothers Ultimate player. (I went to exactly one tournament, and won one set before losing two and being eliminated)

3. I have three tattoos, two of which are video game references and one is a frog with a fur trapper type hat on. My two best friends Jake and Tyler have the same frog as me, but with different hats.

Who Am I - Gabe Haines

Hi all! I am Gabe Haines, a sophomore at Commonwealth University. I am majoring in 2 majors which are Political Science, and Communications Studies. I also am working towards earning a minor in History.  The ultimate goal that I hope to achieve long into the future is being a politician. I would love to serve as the Governor of the Great State of Pennsylvania and work my way up to hopefully becoming the President Of The United States.

The first fun fact about me is that I am a meteorologist. I love anything that has to do with weather especially since I grew up watching the Weather Channel everyday. From tornadoes to hurricanes to snapping away at the sky, I will always be there to help identify and discuss about what makes weather unique.

The next fun fact about me is that I love to analyze elections raging from a variety of years. I am very good at pointing out election predictions especially with the maps. I am able to give good details about percentage points and can point out different techniques the candidates use. I also love to watch the news to catchup on certain events. My last fun fact is that I am a vexillologist. A vexillologist is someone who studies flags and analyzes them. This is my favorite thing to do especially since I not only study flags, but collect flags. I also intend to join the North American Vexillology Association since this is something that I have a passion for. I love all flags ranging from the flags of the US States, to all national flags... except for the bad ones (=

Introduction:

    Hello! My name is Athenia. I'm a sophomore this year at Bloomsburg University. I'm from Long Island but I moved to Stroudsburg, PA 5 years ago. I'm a dual major in special education & early childhood education. I am currently in two clubs, Best Buddies and Trinity Learning Community. My goal for this school year is to just pass my classes, and secure a role on the executive board of Best Buddies. 

Hobbies:

    During my free time, I like to play video games, hang out with friends, listen to music, and go shopping. I'm pretty sure I have a shopping addiction because every night before bed, I add things to my Amazon cart. It's become a part of my bedtime routine. As for playing video games, I only play 3 in rotation, Roblox, The Sims 4, and Fortnite. I've been playing Roblox since middle school, and it never gets old. My music taste is all over the place. I have 16 different playlists for every emotion. This year I actually have a lot of free time because I'm taking an asynchronous course. So, I will be playing video games for hours.

    Here are just some quick fun facts about me. My favorite color is purple. I have two cats with my boyfriend, one is Midnight and the other one is Bruce Wayne. I'm really bad at math, so please do not ask me anything math-related. I am no help. I love the cold weather, and I really hate the heat. Lastly, I used to be a theater kid but I was never in a musical. I worked backstage because I was shy. Anyway, I think that's all there is to really know about me, my personality is introverted unless I'm comfortable around you. So usually I will not be speaking in class unless instructed to.  Hello my names Richard Corry, but I go by Rick. 

I come from a small suburban town near Philadelphia called North Wales. I'm a sophomore at Bloomsburg University with a major in accounting. Some interesting things about me, I own one of the fluffiest and friendliest dog breeds in the world known as a Great Pyrenees. His name is Zeus and we've had him for over a year and a half now. It's taken some time but he's gotten use to our antics and has become one of the most loving animals I've ever had the pleasure to meet.

Back when I was in high school for the football team as an offensive tackle I could squat nearly 500lbs for a one rep max. Lastly I've been a PA resident all my life, but that's not to say I haven't traveled around the world. I've been to Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Italy all in one summer. Also with many in my family being Disney adults I've had my fair share of Florida vacations next to a bright castle with mouse ears.

Hi, my name is Savannah Richart and some things about me are First I would like to say that I got my first tattoo when I was only 16. it was my 16th birthday present it's a shark my favorite ocean animal. Second thing I would like to say is I was supposed to be named after a singer(Amy Lee) but instead my mom decided to name me after Savannah Georgia it is the most beautiful place ever it has weeping willow trees everywhere. The Third thing I would like to say is my family and I have a pet dog that we rescued from a killing shelter he is an American staffordshire terrier people say that he is mean but he is not he loves to give out kisses.
